Guide to wearing the Daily Carrier

STEP 1
Adjust the Base
Using the buttons and drawstring, adjust the width of the base to suit your baby comfortably. The base should support your baby’s thighs from knee to knee, promoting an ergonomic and comfortable position.

STEP 2
Check Belt Positioning
This is an apron style carrier, worn at the waist with the safety label facing outwards. For newborns, wear the belt higher, just under the bust or pecs, and lower it as your baby grows, ensuring your baby sits close enough to kiss at all times.

STEP 3
Secure the Belt
Thread the clip through the loop, then fasten securely around your waist. Ensure you hear a clear click when securing the belt. Pull the webbing to tighten, wearing the belt firm and snug for optimal support.

STEP 4
Position Baby
Place your baby high on your chest in a natural froggy position, with their knees higher than their bottom. Your baby should sit over the belt, rather than above it.

STEP 5
Clip the First Strap
Bring the body of the carrier up over your baby’s back and place one strap over your shoulder. While supporting your baby, reach behind with the opposite hand to bring the strap across and secure it on the opposite side. Ensure you hear a clear click when fastening.

STEP 6
Clip the Other Side
Bring the second strap over your back, swap your supporting hand, and reach behind with the opposite hand to secure the clip. The straps should form a cross across your back. Ensure you hear a clear click when fastening.

STEP 7
Tighten Your Straps
While holding your baby close and supporting their weight, pull the strap downwards and guide the excess webbing towards the clip. Pull through to tighten, then repeat on the other side. Your baby should be well supported in an upright position, with their face clearly visible outside the carrier.

STEP 8
Pelvic Tuck & Headrest
Reach inside the carrier and gently scoop your baby’s pelvis up and towards you, encouraging a hip healthy position. Adjust the headrest so your baby sits high, with their ear clear of the carrier, tucking it in for newborns. Finally, cup the straps over your shoulders for added comfort.
