Guide to wearing the Hipsy Carrier

STEP 1

Prepare the Carrier

Place carrier over preferred shoulder and adjust the strap at the front and back by pulling the webbing through the clips. Allow enough space to comfortably position the carrier around you and your child.

STEP 2 (STANDING)

Seat your Child - Standing

For children who can stand independently, place the carrier over your head and guide your child into the seat, positioning their bottom in the centre before lifting them into position.

STEP 3

Adjust for Comfort

While supporting your child’s weight, gently pull the excess webbing through the clips until your child is comfortably seated high on your hip. Ensure the webbing is evenly adjusted on both sides. Cup the strap over your shoulder for balanced support and comfort.

STEP 4

Check Seated Position

Your child should be seated comfortably in the carrier in an "M" position. Their legs should be bent at the knees with the edge of the seat at their knee-pit and their weight resting in their bottom.
