Guide to wearing the Sling Carrier

STEP 1
Drape Fabric Across Your Back
Position the rings high on your preferred shoulder, just below your collarbone. Drape the fabric evenly across your back, ensuring it sits flat with no twists or bunching.

STEP 2
Thread the Tail Through the Rings
Bring the tail of the fabric up to the rings, Ensuring not to twist the fabric. Pull the tail through both rings, then over the top ring and under the bottom ring. Slide the fabric through, leaving just enough slack for your baby to fit.

STEP 3
Fan the Fabric Between the Rings
Fan the fabric out between the rings so it doesn't overlap. The top rail, or seam, should feed through the top of the rings, and the bottom rail through the bottom. Check that both rails run smoothly through the rings with no twists.

STEP 4
Create a Pouch
Place your elbow into the sling to mimic your baby’s position. Pull the bottom rail through the rings in the direction the fabric came from. As the sling tightens against your body, the fabric will lift and form a pouch for your baby to sit in.

STEP 5
Get Bub Ready
Ensure the rings remain high on your shoulder, just below your collarbone, and check the fabric sits flat across your back. Hold your baby in a burping position over your opposite shoulder, keeping them well supported and close to your body at all times with ease.

STEP 6
Lower Bub In
Reach inside the pouch, underneath the fabric, and gently gather your baby’s feet. While supporting your baby at all times, carefully lower their bottom into the pouch, keeping them close and well supported.

STEP 7
Froggy Position
Ensure your baby sits comfortably in the pouch with the bottom rail supporting under their knees, allowing their knees to sit higher than their bottom. Make sure their weight rests in their bottom, encouraging a deeper seat by gently lifting their feet if needed for support.

STEP 8
Get Nice and Snug
While continuing to support your baby, pull the fabric up high across their back. Tighten excess fabric by drawing it through the rings in the direction it came from. Ensure your baby is upright, with chin off chest, and that the fabric supports a straight back.
