What is the Baby & Toddler Hat?

A soft handwoven linen sun hat for babies and toddlers, lined in cotton, with a neck tie and an adjustable pull inside so it grows with your little one. It comes in four sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-2 years.

Which size should I choose?

Four sizes cover 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 1-2 years, with an adjustable pull inside so you get a little more life out of each one. If your little one is between sizes, size up and draw the pull in.

Breeze up close

Breeze is a deep navy, the steady kind of blue that works from a school run to a wedding. It wears in beautifully rather than out. Hand-dyed in small batches, so expect gentle variation from one piece to the next. That is the linen doing what linen does.

What is it made from?

Handwoven linen, hand-dyed in small batches, lined with soft cotton. As with all our linen, small variations in weave and shade are part of the fabric's character.

A note on sun

A hat is one part of sun protection, not all of it. Keep your little one in the shade through the middle of the day and follow current Australian sun safety advice for their age.

CARE

Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water, using a mild detergent free of brighteners. Hang in the shade to dry and store out of direct sunlight. Do not dry clean.

As your piece is worn, washed and loved, the linen will soften and gently fade, developing character over time.

Will the hat protect my baby from the sun?
