I had been thinking about getting this carrier for months. I recall hip carrying my other children and it being easy but with this one even at just 9 months it felt too hard. I got this and now I’m not trying to hand her off to my husband. She sits there with ease! The shoulder pad is perfect in padding but also balance without hurting any muscles (remember it’s a shoulder pad, not a neck pad, this changes the experience entirely). I carried her all around the markets with ease and got many compliments and questions.

Good/handy, however could go 2cm tighter to get that snug fit, I feel he is slipping off my hip.
I am 144cm in height and 41kg, not exactly the size of an adult which is why I wanted assistance on carrying my 10kg toddler. After 10-15 mins I have to take him off, I feel uncomfortable, I think it’s purely my size. That makes a lot of these things not suitable for me, I still grab it and use it as any assistance at all helps. Mostly around the house as it’s on and off pretty quickly, which becomes annoying when out and about. Also not a fan of not being able to lift my arm with the strap over my shoulder. If it slips up to my neck I feel he slips even lower. Over all fine but not fantastic for petite bodies in my opinion.

Very easy to use and keep baby close/those moments when he’s being a Velcro bub but your arms are aching. Only fault I found in the product was threading started coming loose after a couple of uses which considering price of product I wouldn’t have expected thread fraying so soon. Love the concept though and bub loves being in it.

Hands down the best carrier! Has saved my back throughout holidaying when my little girl is too tired to walk and refuses the travel pram. Basically wearing it all day... like a fashion accessory haha

I love the carrier. The material is great, very good quality. Although I can't carry my son for too long, he is over 10kg, it is very useful for short pickups. I use it every morning when I am about to drop my son off at his daycare. I carry a few bags as well, keys, etc. and it means a lot to have him in the carrier so it frees at least one of my hand to be able to ulock the car. I also use it when I am taking my son on a picnic in the park around our building.

I don’t leave home without the Hipsy carrier now - I can’t afford to leave it behind. It makes carrying my baby so much easier - he’s a very big boy and has never liked any of the chest carriers, so this is a real blessing to have found!

I have cheaper ones but the mumma etc has so much more support and space for my bun to sit into. Like any hip carrier you can’t use for hours so I do find my neck hurts but I am so happy with my purchase and how it supports me and my baby. My husband and mum uses it too.

This carrier is one of the best purchases I’ve made. It’s smaller than a front carrier so easier to pop in the pram or just to carry. It’s comfortable to wear and my daughter LOVES it. I have to hide it from her because as soon as she sees it she wants to go in it. It’s perfect when she needs some extra love and wants to be carried around at home, or when she gets sick of the pram, or at the shops. It’s just the best. She always liked the front carrier, but nowhere near as much as she loves the Hipsy carrier. Highly recommend! The free hat is adorable too.

Material is such good quality, easy to view resources online on how to use the carrier correctly. Love the colour and I’d recommend it to any new mum. Really wish I got the full baby carrier earlier for my bubs but she is 8months now.

I bought this to wear with my 1 year old, I really wanted to love it but it's just not comfortable. You're sort of trading in arm pain from continuous carrying for shoulder pain when you wear the carrier. I stopped using it after a few wears. I'm certain I'm wearing it correctly, so would also respectfully like to request no offers for fit help. I think people are different and find different things comfortable. For me I regret the purchase.

The wide strap means its comfortable on the shoulders and doesn't feel heavy when my child is in it.
Makes holding my 10kg kid easy when I need to cook to when they just want to be held. Honestly amazing.

I purchased this with the intention of bringing it on a big trip with us so I could easily wear my 1 year old. I have a traditional carrier I love but my babies get tired of it around 8 months or so because of facing towards me and it feels like it takes a while to get them strapped in. I loved being able to quickly put my 12 month old in and out of the carrier through the airport and everywhere we went! I use it daily at home to have my baby on my hip while I prep dinner or walk into stores! It’s much more comfortable for older babies than using a ring sling.
